Doctor Education & CE Courses

Lectures, surgical films, and live continuing education by Dr. Lawrence Tenkman on cataract, cornea, and glaucoma surgery. Made for optometrists and eye care professionals; videos contain surgical footage.

A Legacy of Education

Teaching is part of who we are.

2025 KOA Optometric Educator of the Year · First recipient

Through its founder, Legacy has a long history in ophthalmic education. Fighting blindness at scale takes a well-educated community and a strong surgical home. Community eye doctors know when to escalate; within our practice, residency-trained optometrists form the front line and our surgeons stand behind them.

For optometrists

EyeNinja live CE

Legacy is a COPE Administrator. Dr. Tenkman's EyeNinja series is a living, engaging course on anterior-segment surgery and key conditions, offered in person and live virtually for CE credit. We look forward to partnering with optometry schools.

For ophthalmologists

Residents and fellows

We work with residency and fellowship programs, and EyeNinja films have won multiple ASCRS Film Festival awards, putting many residents on the field's biggest stage. A comprehensive anterior-segment fellowship is planned. The world needs more sub-specialists; we look forward to training them.
